June 1

These next few days of our visit from Aunt TT were going to be very busy! We started this morning with a trip to Dorney Park! Riley showed TT all of his favorite rides....

...like the trucks

Jonah was a happy, smiley boy even though it was SO hot outside!

Ready for a ride on the bus!

This morning we took Riley to his final Parkettes class of the semester. It's amazing to me how many things he wouldn't even try at the start of the semester that he now rates among his "favorite" things to do during class at the end! His teacher, Coach Sylvia, was just the best!

Jonah got into the action during class also!

Getting his medal and certificate from Coach Sylvia

Ta da!

Riley was so proud of his medal he wore it around for days after he got it!

Happy Memorial Day!! We love visiting Aunt Pat's house in Bethlehem for the annual parade, and then walking up the street for the ceremony in the cemetery.

Where's that parade, Poppop?

Every holiday needs to start with large sunglasses and a doughnut, right?

Nanny and Jonah are ready!

Here it comes!

We love seeing the Bethlehem Mounted Police!

All-American Boys!

That night we went to Nanny & Poppop's house for a picnic dinner.

Jonah really enjoyed his dessert!

Since Theresa got in late Friday night (like 230 am late) and we spent most of Saturday enjoying the wedding festivities, the boys were VERY eager to have some playtime with Aunt TT today!

We also headed to Aunt Nancy and Uncle Joe's house to enjoy a post-wedding picnic with the wedding couple before they left for their Disney World honeymoon... there were a few other little boys there and they found trouble pretty fast!

May 28

A very special day today... Johanna & John's wedding! Their wedding service was beautiful and very well planned out. It's obvious that a meaningful church service with a lot of music was very important to them.

Abe and I :)

For ages before the wedding Abe kept telling Aunt Nancy that he wanted to be the drunk guy at Table 13... they decided not to go with table numbers, but name each table after a food that they enjoyed. Lucky for us they like "Drunken Noodles"!

May 27

Riley is quite the sous chef these days... he loves to help me cook and bake. Today we tested out a new skill - using a knife!  We were cutting up strawberries for dinner and Riley used one of his plastic knives to help me. I have to say that he did a really good job!

And of course wherever there's food, there's Jonah waiting with a fork!

May 26

Riley got a Radio Flyer bumper car from his grandparents for Christmas this past year... he has spent many hours zooming around our house on it and nearly knocking me over in his wake. Well, now Jonah has discovered the bumper car and loves it just as much! He's started out just using it as a walker, but stay tuned for more cuteness in coming weeks!

It was a pretty warm afternoon, so we headed to one of our favorite spots to cool off!

Luckily the boys are just like their Mama and love the chocolate ice cream!
