Today we had lots of fun in honor of Riley's third birthday! We started the day at Billy's for breakfast, and then headed to the Crayola Factory. In the afternoon Abe took the boys out to look at trains while I got a few things done around the house, and then Nanny, Poppop and Aunt Kathleen came over for dinner and cake. Riley was thrilled with every part of his special day! We'll continue the celebration this weekend with a pizza party with family on Friday night and a Construction Site birthday party with friends on Saturday morning!
Happily waiting for his pancakes...
The first attempt at a nice hug - Jonah wasn't really into it!
That's better...
Creating some animals with Model Magic at the Crayola Factory:
Lining up his (very large!) sidewalk chalk:
Painting a "groovy" tie:
Riley and Jonah testing out the mail scale in the canal museum.
Moving his boat through the canal:
Presents & cards from friends & family:
Riley got this neat pirate ship water play table from us... Poppop though it would make the perfect swimming pool for Jonah when it got warmer!
Counting the candles on his cake:
He made a wish!
What better way to end the day than snuggled on Nanny's shoulder? :)
