Hurricane Irene came to visit us last night... we headed out for breakfast this morning and were completely stunned by some of the flooding that we saw. The Lehigh Parkway is right across the street from our house - normally you can see a parking lot and the Robin Hood Bridge at the bottom of the hill. Today it just looked like a lake down there!

The pastor of our church is retiring and his surprise retirement dinner was planned for this evening. It ended up being a candlelight dinner because the church had no power this afternoon! It was quite lovely and the event had a great turnout!

I never get tired of Jonah's "cheese" face!

Riley needed a little distraction after dinner while the tributes were happening.
