March 13

Today we undertook a little home improvement project. Our laundry room closet had a strange shelf configuration, and we needed to take out the existing shelves and put in new ones to make it work better for our family. Yesterday we went to Ikea to get the supplies we needed, and this afternoon Abe installed the shelves.

Jonah thought he would be "helpful" by climbing on some of the things that were in the closet while the shelves were being put in:

Done! It's crazy how happy these shelves make me - there's now room for my gym bag and our reusable grocery bags to go in there, so they're not piled on the floor (this little hallway is also how we enter the house from the garage).
