We had a whole day of special celebrations for our little Jonah Bologna, including visiting one of our favorite places and spending time with some of our favorite people. Good morning, birthday boy!
After a few quick minutes of play with the new kitchen...
We started our day with breakfast at Billy's, Jonah is waiting patiently for his pancakes:
We had a few friends over to play in the morning...
And we all snacked on the birthday cupcakes that Riley and I made. Daniel REALLY wanted one!
Later, we took an "official" first birthday portrait:
Then later Nanny, Poppop and Aunt Kathleen came over for dinner. Jonah got to open his first load of birthday presents!
And what's more fun than a cute one year old in a box?
After dinner it was time for more cupcakes! (I promise that we don't eat this many sweets every day!)
Jonah knew just what to do with his cupcake... slowly get all of the icing off, and then shove the whole thing in his mouth!
That's ONE good birthday!
