Our family is growing!

We found out early this summer that we're expecting baby #3! Baby is due to arrive on February 21, 2013 and at my 20 week appointment we found out that we're having a very healthy girl. The boys are excited about the baby. Riley wants to decorate the house and get toys out for the baby, and Jonah thinks that the baby is growing in his belly. Just today at lunchtime Jonah said to me, "Mommy, Baby is hungry." Cracked me up! The morning after I told the boys about the baby at the end of July, Riley climbed into bed with me and asked if my belly was big yet. He now understands that the baby isn't coming until after Christmas, but he still asks me every night at bedtime to show him how big my belly is going to get by the end.

On the day of my 20 week ultrasound the boys were in school, so after my appointment I got pink balloons to surprise the boys with when I picked them up from school. Riley was excited about his sister, and Jonah was just thrilled to have balloons!

First Day of School

Monday, September 10 Riley and Jonah headed back to preschool for the year! Riley is in a 4's class this year (his last year before Kindergarten) and Jonah is in a PlayDays class for 2 year olds. Most of the kids in Riley's class he was in school with last year, which was a nice treat for him. Jonah had a little harder time going back to school, but we're doing great now.

I had to promise Riley that we'd take a silly picture after we took a nice one...

Millions of Peaches!

At the end of August we went peach picking with some friends at an orchard in Coopersburg. The boys had a great time helping out, although Jonah needed a lesson on how not to throw the peaches into the basket!
