July 15

This day was a busy one... stick with me! We started off with Jonah's Early Intervention evaluation. His team included his case manager, two evaluators and a student who was shadowing. Jonah breezed through the evaluation, charming his team along the way. They really could not get over how well he paid attention to his tasks and willingly participated in everything. He generally did very well (he even has the fine motor skills of a 22 month old!), but he did qualify for physical therapy once every two weeks (to help him learn to walk) and weekly speech therapy (to help him learn to talk). We expect that his first therapy appointments will be within a week, and his case manager doesn't expect him to be in physical therapy for long. I'm very happy with the outcome and hopefully Jonah will be walking and talking up a storm soon!

We picked up our weekly CSA basket this afternoon, and Riley helped me check out what our haul was for the week. He thought that the beans would make great bunny ears!

Our patio is also progressing nicely!

After dinner Riley and I went on a little date to Dorney Park. We stopped for a little snuggle on the purple train:

And Riley was thrilled to have to wait on the 3 for his race car!

He passed out in the car on the way home - mission accomplished!
