April 10

This was a bit of an atypical Sunday morning for us. We all went to Sunday School together, but then Riley and Abe went to a birthday party for his friend Rufus, who was also turning 3 this week. It was a pirate-themed party - Rufus' mom Emma is an amazing party planner. She owns a great store in Emmaus called Cottage, and has just started a party planning business as well. Riley was so excited to come home from the party and tell me all about it and show me the bandana he decorated, his sword (made of foam), and his goodie bag.

That afternoon Abe was on the hunt for new running shoes, so we decided to make a last-minute trip to the Outlets in Limerick, PA. I, of course, forgot my camera, so the only pics I have from today are crappy cell phone pics of the kids at McDonald's at dinner... ugh. Riley loves a good fast food restaurant play area, and the one that we stopped at in Pottstown on the way home was unlike any other that we had seen before. They even had a kid-sized basketball shooting game, which Riley and Abe both loved!
